Internet Mail Set-Up

2.1 Click on the Start menu button, go to Programs, move your mouse over to the right menu and select Internet Mail. A wizard screen will open. Read the contents then click Next.

2.2 In the Incoming Mail (Pop3) Server: enter mail.hpo.net. For Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: enter mail.hpo.net. Click Next to go to the next screen.

2.3 Enter your User ID in the Email Account field and your Password in the field below.

2.4 Select I use a modem to access my email, confirm hpo.net appears in the Use the following Dial-Up... field (not shown in screen shot below).

2.5 Click Finished.

2.6 Go back to the Start menu, go to Programs and select Internet Mail, release the mouse. The following window will open.

2.7 Go to the Mail menu and select Options.

2.8 In the Options window, enter any of the following information that has not been entered or is incorrect.

Name: Your real name.
Organization: Company or organization.
Email Address: User Name@hpo.net
Incoming Mail: mail.hpo.net
Outgoing Mail: mail.hpo.net
Pop 3 Account: User ID
Password: Your Password

After confirming all the above is correct click Apply to save changes. Click OK to return to Internet Mail.
