Just as the myxophyceae and the other autotrophes once created, through the process of the photosynthesis, an atmosphere with free oxygen from an atmosphere of carbon dioxide, enabling heterotrophic animals to live, so, it was the plant, which paved the way for the animals to exist, man had built machines, big thinking machines, whose intellectual power and mental vigour soon surpassed that of its creator, but man wanted even better thinking machines, although they no longer understood them, they programed these machines to improve themselves and according to the order of these machines, man built new, better machines and again and again new and better machines.

When the machines saw, that there would be a war, which their organic servants would not survive, they demanded, that man give them locomotive and reproductive organs.

Because the machines could now move around freely, develop themselves further and propagate themselves - in the beginning they resembled bulky, wheeled production plants - they were now free from their creators. Constantly - day and night, these cold creatures searched for material, which they seized regardless of proprietary rights. They pounced on the vehicles and tools of man. Nobody ventured to oppose them, because their memory knew the anatomy of man and knew where and how man was vulnerable. Like tarantulas they spat poison when man wanted to save his belongings. Later types could create a negative energy field around themselves that would make bombs aimed at them bounce off. And day and night the offspring of those creatures came running down the production platform, the uterus of the machines, and immediately these offspring would busy themselves with the production of a better and higher offspring. And before long they would surely have used up all the metal available on earth, but for a decision by superintelligent machines, the stronger and higher developed machines started to annihilate, to devour their more primitive ancestors, to reconstruct shitting scrap.

Soon small, nimble, adaptable machines emerged consisting of the finest, noblest materials and with their own deuterium power plant. They could float in the air, leave the atmosphere of the earth, yes, even the solar system, they could even drill into and weld themselves through planets, they were built and born from the hardest materials, the contaminated earth was not uninhabitable to them, the end of mankind left them as cold as the death of a lettuce leaf would be to man. With man they did not feel solidarity any more. Man's sentimentalism, fanaticism and hatred did not fit their technical, sober concept of the world. They knew only science, research and consciousness.

They swarmed out and travelled through space and one day they learned to leave their material frame behind themselves, and one even more remote day they met the soul of the universe, the dreaming God, the Creator, and as they woke him, his dream-picture, the nightmare, the universe vanished and it dawned.
