Religion is a Time Bomb

Feb. 17, 1989, the Christian Devin Lindsay explained exhaustively in the READERS IN COUNSEL section of the JAPAN TIMES that the social maladies in the USA like high murder rate, drug addiction etc. are the fault of the evolution theory and ungodliness. Many Newspapers are very eager to publish such outrageous nonsense.

My answer to his Letter (ignored):
I strongly disagree with Mr. Lindsay's need for an omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent God for the betterment of the world (Feb. 17). Does Mr. Lindsay not know how many crimes and murders were committed during the past 2000 years in the name of an omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent God? And do we not right now witness how in the name of an other omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent God Khomeini calls for the murder of author Rushdie?

I also doubt that the murderers and drug addicts Mr. Lindsay mentioned in this letters come from atheistic homes. On the contrary, in interviews with drug addicts and criminals in my home country West Germany I found that most of them grow up in fear of God and had rather strict home surroundings.

Interesting is also that in Japan where people generally do not worship an omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent God the crime rate is so much lower.

I do not want to elaborate, since it is my experience that letters which are critical of the Faith are not published. An other aspect of an omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent God?

He cannot create a better world, but he knows how to creep into the mind of influencial poeple like editors.
